On CNN today, was Oxford University geneticist Bryan Sykes; his new book, Adam’s Curse explains how men will eventually become extinct! He said basically men are ‘genetically modified women’ and thousands of years from now there’ll be no more modification of women and men will fall off the face of the earth… except his explanation was far intellectually believable.

I find the premise oddly comforting! And it’s not like I’m a man-hater either, maybe I’m a closet man-hater. I just think it’s reassuring that in some thousand years from now, there’ll be no men.

I’m glad it’s not happening in my time because I kinda like men... sometimes… and I think my world will be boring and lonely without them (because I don’t know any better!) but knowing that their kind will soon be gone from the face of the earth makes me happy. The world will be a much happier and peaceful place without men.

I just hope the good professor knows what he’s talking about! Ok, I’m kidding… just a little bit though!
