So life hasn’t been all grim and bad news. What famous wise person said “yet in misery and sorrow, joy filters through”…well, if no famous and wise person’s said that yet, they should because it’s true!

Two weeks ago I became an aunt for the very first time! And I don’t mean aunt as in how your neighbour or your oldest friend’s child calls you “aunt”. I’m a real aunt… my very own nephew and unofficial godson. I didn’t even have to do anything, my sister went into the hospital huffed and puffed for about 8 hours and out came baby!

I think I’m going to be the best aunt in the whole damn world!
