One of the amazing things about working and living downtown is the small feats I pull off during my lunch time! Errands your average suburbanite would have to take the day off to run; I get done during my lunch hour! On Friday, I went to my bank, closed out my joke of a savings account (which was making me like 0.005% in interests), opened an “investment account” (term used liberally, what it is, is actually a savings account with slightly higher interests) with another bank. I went to the mall to get a birthday (29th Mar), present for my sister, did a bit of browsing, caught the end of a fashion show, had a quick coffee with a co-worker, chatted with ‘guy at Furla’ about their Spring collection, helped an old woman cross the street and rescued a baby from a burning building in my high heels. Ok the last bit isn’t true but I did feel like Superwoman.
