Temperamental tendencies like ‘hating the world’ after 21 is so passé

Oh yeah, after 21, you begin a deprecating spiral into self-loathing. I guess you realise the problem isn’t the world; it’s just you that sucks!

People are such bitches at times

Yes, indeed. But it’s important to remember that bitches are not born, they are made that way. In fact, you could be sympathetic; they’ve probably had a very hard life or were abused as kids and never sought help.

We all strive for ultimate happiness

That is not entirely true; some of us wouldn’t know what to do with ‘happy’. We’d be miserable if we ever found happiness; I imagine ‘true happiness’ as this boring state where you can’t get beyond. Which would explain why we’re always digging away at the wretched bits of our lives, we are our own saboteurs.

We’re always so miserable in love

Also not true, just as long as we’re not afraid to try or let go and don’t throw our whole life away just because someone smiled and told us they loved us, we could be very happy in love!

Beauty is skin deep

Ummm…. i don’t think there’s anything beautiful deep in the skin unless it’s a metaphor for the charisma in great individuality and character, in which case I don’t think it should be called beauty. Beauty is cheapening; a much magnificent word should be applied.

We’ve become an amoral society

We never were a ‘moral society’ to begin with; we’re just fixated with creating one as if it’ll solve all our problems. What we fail to realize is that, the concept of morality varies from person to person
