Living in a material world!

This weekend, without meaning to, I bought:

• These very comfortable pointy-toe Diesel Chacha sneakers. I love it! It’s casual yet I could dress it up a bit whenever I don’t want to be bothered plus it’s ultra comfy…. who said pointy toes have to be painful?

• The orange toggle coat which I asked Santa for and didn’t get! I got it for myself! I know it’s a bit off-season but here’s hoping orange is still ‘in’ next winter.

• A really cute pair of jeans that fit like I had them custom made by some Italian tailor designer whose name I can’t pronounce

• These also very comfortable wedge-heeled loafers from BCBG, also for work or play. And might I add, dinner on Saturday cost more than those shoes.

• Josh Groban’s CD ‘Closer’ which I’m listening to right now and I’m loving it! I’m officially a Grobanite!

And to what I didn’t buy this weekend; a 20” Sharp Plasma TV, because my sister, who was obviously working against me, made the task of set-up and mounting so daunting it scared me. Turns out I can’t take it home and be watching dvd’s in like… say… 30mins, I’ll need at least 2-3 hours to hook it up and hang on the wall; who has time for that? So my money (which I don’t have) and I went home instead.

On the whole, I was glad with all my purchases. They were all about 50-75% off so I relatively saved a chunk of money on stuff I didn’t need to begin with.
